Explorer Camp

Sima Explorer Summer Camp is a week-long outdoor-based camp, where children are physically active while building knowledge and connecting with the natural world around them.

Mount Sima provides the perfect location for children to explore and discover Yukon’s natural world. We believe that children thrive when they are outside exploring, creating and learning. We aim to create a camp experience where your child will come home tired, muddy and excited!

Alternating age groups each week
Rangers - ages 9 to 12 years old
Trail Blazers - ages 6 to 8 years old

Time: 9am-4pm
Drop off after 8:30am
Pick up by 4:30pm

Summer 2026 Dates

Camp 1: June 29 to July 3 — Trail Blazers 6-8 yrs old (4 Day Camp Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Camp 2: July 6 to 10 — Rangers 9-12 yrs old

Camp 3: July 13 to 17 — Trail Blazers 6-8 yrs old

Camp 4: July 20 to 24 — Rangers 9-12

Camp 5: July 27 to July 31 — Trail Blazers 6-8 yrs old

Camp 6: August 3 to 7 — Rangers 9-12 yrs old

Camp 7: August 10 to 14 — Trail Blazers 6-8 yrs old

Camp 8: August 18 to 21 — Rangers 9-12 yrs old (4 day camp, Tuesday to Friday)

The date on the calendar is the day the camp starts. There will not be calendar days for each day of the camp. Just day 1.
