Explorer Camp

Mount Sima Explorer Camp is a week-long outdoor-based summer camp, where children are physically active while building knowledge and connecting with the natural world around them.

Mount Sima provides the perfect location for children to explore and discover the Yukon’s natural world. We are committed to fostering an inclusive camp atmosphere where children can thrive exploring, creating and learning in the outdoors. Campers embark on daily adventures, featuring games and challenges navigating forest trails, discovering the clear waters of Lost Hat Lagoon, paddling Pokey Pond, building bonfires and crafting custom creations. Along the way, campers build valuable natural identification and safety skills for enjoying the wilderness.

Daily Schedule:
Camp registration includes transportation to and from Mount Sima provided by Mount Sima's new downtown shuttle service.
Camp pick up and drop off is from Shipyards Park (with the exception of Thursday afternoons where pick up is from the Canada Games Centre)
Drop off is between 8:30am-8:40am.
Pick up is between 4:20-4:30pm.

Camp 3: August 18 to 21 — 4 day camp; Tuesday to Friday
